Dr. Viktoriya Zilberman

Biography

I have been a proud member of the FLAH family since 2012. I can trace my love of animals back to my childhood, where Mickey, our family’s white terrier-mix, inspired my devotion. As a 5-year-old, I may have loved him a little too much back then. I don’t know how much he appreciated me painting his nails, giving him haircuts, and cuddling him like he was my favorite stuffed animal – but he was my best friend.

Growing up in Bergen County, I donated my time volunteering at RBARI animal shelter since the age of 13, all throughout high school. I completed my undergraduate degree in animal science at Cook College, Rutgers University, receiving my veterinary degree from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, the school of the gentle doctor. Moving back to the east coast to be closer to family and friends, I completed a rotating internship at Fifth Avenue Veterinary Specialists, a busy specialty and 24-hour emergency hospital in New York City.

My favorite areas of interest include dermatology, specifically of dogs and cats. Working here at FLAH allows me to practice the best medicine possible, with the help of great staff, and the wonderful clients and their fur babies.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three chinchillas, running, skiing, and traveling. Sometimes, even traveling for running or skiing!
