Dr. Anna Ward

Biography

I was raised in Cliffside Park, New Jersey, and received my bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in 2009. After completing my undergraduate studies, I worked as a certified veterinary technician in NJ for six years. These years spent in the hospital solidified my dream of becoming a veterinarian. I then pursued my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Midwestern University, graduating in 2018 as part of the university’s inaugural veterinary class. I joined Franklin Lakes Animal Hospital in March of 2020.

My clinical interests focus on preventative medicine and soft tissue surgery. I place great importance on client communication, finding joy in spending time with clients and addressing their specific questions and concerns. Ensuring that their four-legged companions remain happy and healthy is my top priority. I am dedicated to building lifelong relationships with clients and their pets, and I work hard to nurture these connections. My promise is to always approach each client with honesty, empathy, providing their pets with the utmost care and compassion.

Outside of the hospital, I enjoy traveling, hiking and spending time with my husband Rob and our son, River. I’m also incredibly proud to be part of a military family. And, of course, I have my own four-legged kids – Bacon, my lovable English Bulldog, and my cats Nella, Reign and Roswell, who range from extremely fluffy to hairless!
