Dr. Sharon Greenhut

Biography

I am a proud member of the Franklin Lakes Animal Hospital team. I strive to be a loyal and compassionate doctor who always advocates for the thorough and fair treatment of those in need. I very much enjoy forming relationships with my patients and their owners, and I truly understand the human-animal bond. I am particularly well versed in the care of dogs and cats and enjoy meeting new clients and patients.

I was born and raised in New York and attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where I received my Bachelor of Science degree (May of 2002). I then went on to receive my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine (May of 2007). After meeting my husband Will, I moved to Pennsylvania and practiced veterinary medicine for five years while Will completed a residency in emergency medicine (for people). We then moved back to New York to be closer to family, and I happily joined Franklin Lakes Animal Hospital in January of 2013.

We currently reside with our three human children (Brayden, Caleb, and Vienna), our fur babies Minnie and Scout (mixed breed rescue dogs), a hamster, and a flock of chickens. One of my greatest joys in life is watching our children interact and play with our companion animals and watching them all grow up together.
