We decided to switch up our vet about a year ago and switched to Franklin Lakes Animal Hospital and we couldn’t be happier with the decision. The level of care, patience, and love each staff member has towards animals is such an amazing experience. They listen to all of our concerns and genuinely care about our dogs. They are very accommodating when there’s an urgent issue and usually have availability to help treat any last minute issues.

Our one doggo is extremely anxious and usually needs additional help when being treated and all of the staff is so accommodating to his needs and gives him so much grace and patience which means the world to us. Our previous vet caused additional anxiety and did not treat our dog with the level of care and respect he deserves. We are thankful to have found somewhere that cares for our dogs like we do.

Where are you located?

Our hospital is located in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, but we treat pets from all surrounding areas.

What can I expect during my first visit?

You can expect a thorough wellness exam, vaccination review, and discussions on diet, behavior, and preventive care. Our team will also check for parasites and recommend tests based on your pet’s age and health. Bring any medical records and be ready to ask questions!

What is included in a wellness exam?

Wellness exams focus on several key areas to comprehensively assess your pet’s health.

Physical Evaluation: Examination of your pet’s eyes, ears, teeth, skin, and coat.
Preventive Care: Review of vaccinations, parasite screening, and preventatives.
Dental Health: Teeth and gum evaluation with care recommendations.
Expert Guidance: Advice on nutrition, behavior, training, and enrichment.
